 The Gooding Soil Conservation District is one of fifty-one districts in the State of Idaho whose purpose was mandated by the U.S. Congress to promote the conservation of natural resources and provide local leadership that strives to mold conservation with sustainable agricultural through a group of local volunteers  who are elected by the general public to serve as the Board of Supervisors.

THE WAR IS ON! 
Eric Moore, Organizer of the Community Garden  and Mayor, Duke Morton  started a challenge.  Because they had  extra plot available they wanted to see who could grow the largest pumpkins.  Now you have the Gooding Soil Conservation District, Eric Moore,  and the Mayor in on this little competition.  What started out as fun is now serious so now the race is on.
